A World of Possibilities: Wycombe Abbey Pupils Explore Global University Options

Recently, Wycombe Abbey hosted the International Roadshow, led by The University Guys. This event featured eight prestigious universities from across North America and Europe, providing a unique opportunity for prospective students to explore a variety of academic programmes from around the world.
The participating universities included: IE University from Spain, Bocconi University from Italy, McGill University and Bishop’s University from Canada, ESCP Business School from France, High Point University and Loyola Marymount University from the United States, and the Swiss Education Group from Switzerland. Each institution showcased its distinctive educational offerings, providing insights into their diverse programmes and opportunities for international students.
The audience included numerous UV and LVI Wycombe Abbey pupils and their parents, as well as guests from other local schools. The event began with a comprehensive overview of the difference between UK and international university admissions along with introductions from each university admission representative. Following the presentations, attendees had the chance to collect information and ask questions in a college fair, where they could speak one-on-one with admissions representatives from the universities, often the very individuals who would be reviewing their future applications!
The International Roadshow showcased Wycombe Abbey’s enthusiasm for higher education and its commitment to exploring diverse opportunities. It provided pupils with valuable insights into the many pathways available in their academic journeys.
